Faith matters.
So does the life you share.
For adults in the UK seeking a Muslim marriage introduction, MutualVow offers private applications and manual consideration of what each person wants from married life.
Private profile. Free at present. No card needed.
A private introduction, without an open chat feed
There is no public member directory, swiping or open chatting on MutualVow. You apply for yourself, confirm your email and let our team consider your profile. If a potentially suitable introduction becomes possible, we discuss the next step and seek both people’s agreement before sharing identifiable information.
This is a marriage-introduction service. We do not conduct nikah ceremonies or give religious rulings. If you need guidance about religious requirements, consult someone qualified whom you trust.
Explain what faith means in your everyday life
A shared label may be important, but it does not explain daily practice, family expectations or how you hope to raise children. Use the optional faith and worldview answers to describe what you want a reviewer to understand.
- If Sunni, Shia, a school of thought or another maslak matters to you, describe it in your own words. State whether it is essential or something you would discuss.
- Explain expectations around religious practice, family involvement and the home you hope to build. Do not assume them from someone’s name or nationality.
- Say whether you would like family or a wali involved in a possible introduction. We discuss the arrangement with you; your own consent remains necessary.
Make the location practical
A London applicant who needs to remain near family may have different options from someone able to move within the UK. Include your city, willingness to travel and realistic relocation plans in the application. Being open to overseas introductions should be a considered choice, not an assumption.
Our local network’s availability varies. We explain who would be involved before arranging a check or sharing your information with a family or introduction partner.
What “checked” means here
Our process separates application review, email confirmation and in-person identity checks. A religious preference is self-described; checking identity does not establish someone’s sincerity, religious practice or compatibility. You should have your own considered conversations before making a decision.
Our team also reviews photos and stated marital status, and may ask for clarification. Never forward another applicant’s profile or proposal to groups or other platforms. Read our trust and privacy explanation for the scope and limits of checks.
A realistic pace, with room to decide
For accepted applicants, our aim is three mutually agreed introductions over 6–12 months. This is an aim, not a guaranteed number or deadline. We will not propose someone unsuitable simply to reach a target. You can decline an introduction or withdraw your application.
Submitting your application is not acceptance or identity verification. Confirming your email establishes control of your inbox. Our team considers your profile separately; relevant identity checks and permission come before a recommendation.
Before you apply
Tell us your UK city, your faith preferences and whether you would consider someone elsewhere. We cannot promise a local candidate or a match from a particular maslak.
For adults 18+. Free at present. One private application, with 1–3 recent photos.
