MutualVow homeA new chapter

A second marriage.
A life fully considered.

Being divorced or widowed is part of your story. It should not replace a thoughtful conversation about the relationship and daily life you want now.

Start with your life today

MutualVow welcomes private applications from divorced and widowed adults seeking marriage. We consider both people’s preferences, including openness to remarriage and to a partner who has children. An application does not guarantee acceptance or an introduction.

There is no public profile catalogue. You can explain relevant circumstances privately, without publishing personal history for strangers to browse. We do not need detailed accounts of a previous relationship or another person’s private information.

Four conversations before an introduction

  1. Readiness

What would feeling ready for another marriage look like to you? Give a realistic timeframe rather than the earliest date you think someone wants to hear.

  2. Children and caring

Explain relevant living arrangements, shared care and responsibilities. Avoid children’s names, schools or detailed schedules. Discuss whether both people are open to an existing family and to future children.

  3. Home and work

Would a new relationship require a move? State the commitments you need to protect and what could realistically change.

  4. Family and faith

Describe how relatives or trusted people should be involved. Explain any essential faith or life preferences without assuming the other person shares them.

A considerate introduction is mutual

Someone being open to second marriage is only a starting point. Their expectations around children, location and everyday life also need to work with yours. Our application asks what is essential and where you are flexible so the reviewer can consider both sides.

You can decline a proposed introduction. Your past relationship does not oblige you to accept a match or lower an essential preference.

Privacy during review

Use recent, recognisable photos and an honest biography. State whether you are divorced, widowed or still legally married; we manually review this information and may ask for clarification. Do not upload divorce papers, government IDs, financial documents or medical records with the application. If clarification is needed, the team will explain the next step. Do not repost or forward another person’s profile, photos or proposal elsewhere. Review and identity checks have limits; they are not a guarantee of safety or relationship success.

A realistic pace, with room to decide

For accepted applicants, our aim is three mutually agreed introductions over 6–12 months. This is an aim, not a guaranteed number or deadline. We will not propose someone unsuitable simply to reach a target. You can decline an introduction or withdraw your application.

Submitting your application is not acceptance or identity verification. Confirming your email establishes control of your inbox. Our team considers your profile separately; relevant identity checks and permission come before a recommendation.

Before you apply

Tell us your current marital status accurately. We do not progress a marriage introduction while a legal marriage remains unresolved.

For adults 18+. Free at present. One private application, with 1–3 recent photos.
